Changing Pressure Washer Pump Oil
Переглядів 426 тис.9 років тому
I show you how easy it is to change pressure washer pump oil. My owner's manual said the pump oil would not need changing for the life of the pump. Given the look of the oil, it obviously needed changing. I measured what I drained as there was no information in the manual or on the pump. It needed 8 ounces to fill it.

Did your old oil have a strange smell? Like cats pee? And was it like a dark grey colour? edit- just seen the colour our yours there- Any strange smell though?
Beautiful straight lines!!!
Very helpful, good job lamp repair made easy.
Thank you for making this. I have some windows to glaze after I re-screen the storm windows with one of your other videos.
Thank you for making this video. I bought a hundred year old house and have some screens that need to be replaced and your video was one of the top results and one of the best ones.
Just the video I was looking for. Excellent video. Thank you.
I have old aluminum windows that seem to have tint. How do you remove the tint?
like your table can i get your measure
Love Love your video. Editing note: maybe if you don't like the background noise, don't use the sound from the original video and add a narrate later. (add it to the video separately after the fact)
UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.
My dad has this power washer and used it for his painting business for years with minimal oil changes I borrowed it and changed the engine oil and pump oil still starts 1-2 pulls every time great machine, not sure Honda still builds them like they used to….
I ended up using some self tappers that I had laying around but glue might not be a bad idea the next time around.
My replacement spring came with 2 screws... Im going to drill 2 pilot holes and attach mine with them. Thanks for the video!
My simpson 3400 psi 2.3gpm doesn't have a fill spot like this one. Has the sight window but no where to put it in? I looked everywhere online about it and no luck. Anyone have any idea? Maybe just not able to fill this one? Seems odd to have a sight window and no where to add😂
Wagner created a "glass shield" for heat guns so you can weaken the old putty for removal when replacing a window pane. Its pretty legit.
I know I’m late to the party BUT, could you please post the model number of that head? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks for reading this at this late date.
Srm 230 Dame hillbilly didn't show how to get it off
Do you not prime the raw wood before glazing
I brushed boiled linseed oil on the inside before i place a bed of glazing for the new glass. As for the window itself, I stripped the multiple coats of paint years ago so I know how roughed up and hard the wood is. The paint adhered nicely, plus there was a storm window over it. Thanks for watching!
Great repair video. How did you take the window out of the frame? Ours is a sort of plexiglass that is scratched, not broken.
Old Video but perhaps you will get the message that it worked EXACTLY like you showed it. Thanks very much.
What a moron and this crap video even worse.
I put outboard motor lower unit gear case oil in mine.
The glazing job looks fine.👍🏻👍🏻
kow do you put in a double pane from the original single pane?
Would have been easier if you removed the top piece harp so it's out of the way. You kept fighting it.
I guess my shits broken
My screw keeps turning in the shroud
Seems like the world really wanted to audio bomb your video lol. And literally as I finished my comment you mentioned all the noises lmao
Hey Man!!!!! Thanks a Billion I just fixed my lamp many blessings in a rental property 🙏🏽🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 saved me so much!!
How do you remove the glass after getting the glaze off? We have old 1950's style windows and there are two windows. I would like to clean between the windows by removing one of the pieces of glass.
Why didn't you remove the harp,it was difficult to see .
Thanks for the info. Just outta curiosity, does this pressure washer still run?
Thanks for watching! My pressure washer is still running strong. Maintain your equipment and it will last a long time!!
Thank you. Had no idea what to put in there. Big help. Aloha.
can the window shatter from the heat?
yes.
I reattached the spring. Thanks. But now the hook in the back that holds the slide in place is grabbing the slide. It should go in the slide’s channel to hold it with the spring. Does hook also have a spring to ensure it follows the channel. It’s riveted on. Thanks.
Figured it out. That “hook” is supposed to be straight. Then it runs in the channel. Hard to bend back because it’s hard to reach and swivels. Put a dowel on it and tapped it back to perpendicular with a hammer. Now working perfectly. Thanks!
where can I purchase the threaded couplings which attach the sections of a tall floor lamp pieces together?
This is a very helpful video. Thank you!
Thank you for your time and experience,we appreciate your channel
You wouldn't want to slip with the broomstick near the groin area. You'll be in hospital instead of making briquettes. Good job though. Just be careful.
How'd you strip it? Or get it out the door.
Thanks for sharing. Still helping after 10 years !
This guy is good...very skilled. The only thing is I thought the retaining pins should be on the inside...what's stopping someone to chisel them out and remove the pane?
No need to take the 1/2" bolt and spring assembly off...entire head will turn off with your hand once the head is locked in place through the small hole on the gear head.
Awesome job brother. Great job staying calm and patient also.
mine dont have bolt mid way, how can i check level of oil
THANK YOU!!
